Please read this before using Zimdays

Zimdays.com hopes you will have many happy hours here and we welcome you to the Zimdays community. Before that, Zimdays.com its employees, contractors and support staff have the following message to all prospective users of this website:

We believe that all Zimbabwean people are created equal regardless of gender, race, creed or political persuasion. It is our policy to uphold this principle at all times. We would encourage you to seriously consider if this site is suitable for you if you hold extreme views for/against any races, gender, creed or political persuations.

Zimdays.com does not represent any Zimbabwean political party (past, present or future), we hold no allegiances to any political organisation whatsoever.

Zimdays.com is purely an entertainment nostalgia and reunion site. It is not a political discussion forum. Zimdays.com allows members to record their experiences of life in Zimababwe over the last century - good and bad.

You will find some use of colonial names at this site. This is purely for historical reasons. The use of colonial names in the text at Zimdays.com does not reflect political or other allegiances or views.

We have attempted to present Zimbabwe's history without any racial bias. Our attempt has been hampered due to the quantity (and quality) of material recorded about various groups of our society over various periods in our history. Zimdays gives you the chance to record your memories from Glen Norah to Hillside, rural villages to commercial farming over the last century.

Finally, the information contained at Zimdays has been researched and verified as rigorously as possible with the resources available. Zimdays is not an academic site and exists to provide insight, entertainment and a journalistic overview.

Zimdays exists to encourage you to start your own journey into learning about your Zimbabwean origins and interests. We do not presume to be leading historians or anthropologists. If you would like to comment or correct anything from an expert eye – please feel free to contact us.
